Why did you start this site?
I made this site because I wanted to help people who have become a victim of bicycle thefts. I've had my bike stolen more than once, but what really pissed me off was that I didn't know about the recent crime wave in my area. I want people to know if their bikes are in danger of being stolen, and if they do get stolen, that they can do something about it.
What do you do with my information?
You need to enter some basic contact information when you post on this site. The information you enter is kept secure in the event that someone wants to contact you about your post. I also use your information if I get enough advertising revenue to give away free products (See advertising next question). I've had my personal information sold to a marketing list before, and I know how much it sucks. I will never release people's personal information to a third party.
Can I advertise on this site?
I only offer advertising through promotions and giveaways. If you want to advertise this way, you can donate some bicycle accessories which will be given to members in a draw. You will be credited for your donation on the site. Contact us for more information.
Are there fees involved with using this site?
No. This site is completely free to use. You can post bikes as often as you like with no charge.
